Unneeded Words On A Page

I'm always the let down,
With my tied together smile.
I tell everyone the world's just fine,
As I sing to keep myself in denial.
I wish people could see who I am,
And to see how I feel.
Because deep down inside,
Everything goes downhill.
Nothing ever seems to last,
I'm always left of center.
Everyone burns with fire within,
I'm the cold that comes with winter.
They say there's hope for the hopeless,
But I'm way pass that stage.
I feel that my thoughts,
Are just more unneeded words on a page.
So tell me I'll be alright,
That everything is dandy.
The lies drip from your mouth,
As sweet as candy.
Life doesn't reach forever,
But I promise I'll love you that long.
People say I'm crazy, stupid, and way too young,
But deep inside I know it's not wrong.
